Materials & Methods: This descriptive-correlational research was conducted on 300 stuedents selected by multi steps cluster sampling from students of Tabriz University in 2013. They filled Millon clinical multi-axial inventory-3 (MCMI) and Behavioral activation-inhibition system scale (BIS-BAS). The data were analyzed with Pearson correlation coefficient and simultaneous regression.
Results: Accordingly, only BIS was significantly helpful to predict the avoidant and dependent personality disorders. Not BIS nor BAS were significant to predict the obsessive-compulsive personality disorder.
